Ambulance

Hydra’s ambulance service is only available near the Port and on level roads. Call 22980 53150 or 53151.

Dentist

Dentist Panagiotis Zervos performs teeth cleanings and checks, fillings, bridges, crowns, and the like. He is located just up from Ostria Restaurant, before Anna Marie’s supermarket. Please call 22980 52566.

Fire

Hydra has no fire department. To report a fire, please call 199 or notify the police at 22980 52205. For forest fires, call 191.

First Aid & General Practitioner

This English-speaking doctor’s service is located in Hydra Town on Miaoulis Street, up from the Angelica Hotel. Please call 22980 29720.

Hospital & Ambulance

This small hospital is available for residents and visitors in case of illness or emergency. It is located just up from the Althexis Pet Shop in Hydra’s main square, just down from the Rafalias Pharmacy. Please call 22980 53150 or 53151.

Pharmacies/Chemists

Hydra has two full service pharmacies with English-speaking owners/pharmacists.

  • Gavalas Pharmacy (located on a side street near Kai Kremmidi, the Amalour Bar, and Bratsera Hotel): 22980-53260
  • Rafalias Pharmacy (located in the main square near the hospital, up from Althexis Pet Shop and Anna Marie’s supermarket): 22980-52059
