The painting exhibition “Roots–Ρίζες” by Irini Vazoukou opens Saturday, July 4, 2015, at 20.30 at the Hydra Museum and Historical Archives. The exhibition will last until July 31, 2015, and open daily from 9.00 to 16.00 and 19.30 to 21.30.
Vazoukou has been working on the theme of “Roots–Ρίζες” for the last 5 years and this is the first time these works have been presented in their entirety.
About the Artist
Ireni Vazoukou was born in Rhodes. She has presented her artistic contributions in 10 solo exhibitions (Museum of Modern Greek Art Rhodes, Casa Bianka Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki, Municipal Art Gallery of Corfu Old Palace, Gallery Stavrakakis Heraklion, D Amboise Gate Rhodes, etc.), and has participated in more than 70 group exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus, Denmark, and Finland. Her works are in museum collections, galleries, institutes, public buildings, and private collections in Greece and abroad.
