Hydra in spring can be cold and wet one day, then sunny and balmy the next. Temperatures tend to hover around 20°C (68°). Definitely pack a rain coat and some warmer clothes, as well as a solid walking shoe or boot.
For some veteran visitors to Hydra, spring is one of their favorite times to visit. The island is coming back to life after the winter, but summer madness hasn’t hit. It’s a time of blossoming flowers and anticipated festivals, like Carnival, Clean Monday and Kite Day, and Greek Easter.
