Jacqueline Savidge

Born in England, Jacqueline Savidge studied occupational therapy. After graduating she spent six months traveling through India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives—an experience that greatly influenced her future. Returning to London she worked as a graphic designer for several years before discovering Hydra. She moved to the island almost thirty years ago and found the perfect place to develop her painting.

Jacqui works in a variety of media, painting flowers, portraits, and icons. Her latest work, created from recycled materials, was recently (summer 2016) exhibited on Hydra, where she has exhibited many times over the last twenty years.
