This is a lovely traditional island house in a quiet position in Kamini, on the island of Hydra. Sleeps 4 / 6.

The house has large shaded private terraces, with a great sea view, and well tended flowering plants in abundance, creating a rich and tranquil environment.

Inside, the house is beautifully presented and oozes understated island charm.

There are two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, and one with two singles), and the bathroom on the lower floor.

Steps lead up from one of the bedrooms to the kitchen, which can also be accessed externally. The kitchen is charming and well equipped, with a dining table that will seat six, and a full oven and good sized fridge, and all the utensils you would need for self catering.

Off the kitchen is a very large ‘virani’ living room, with an open fireplace and comfortable seating at one end, and a dining table at the other end.

The living room is air conditioned, and there are two divan beds, where a further two people can sleep, meaning that the house can accommodate up to six people.

The house is located above Kamini, and not far from the ‘4 Corners’ mini market. There arenot too many steps to negotiate, but neither is it right down by the water…

This deluxe villa overlooking the picturesque fishing village of Kaminia combines traditional island architecture with every modern convenience. It has many wide terraces offering panoramic views of the nearby sea and of the distant hills of the Peloponnese. Located in a very quiet neighborhood on the beach front road from Hydra to Kamini. Hydra town center ten minutes walk. Close to sandy beaches in Kamini and Vlychos and only 50 steps to a beautiful flat stone beach. Within easy reach of mountain walking.

Living Room: 40 square meters with two sleeping couches 110 by 250 mm and a traditional Hydra couch 90 by 190 mm; 4 windows also with sea view, AC, ceiling fans and fireplace. It can accommodate 3 people. 53” TV, HiFi, WiFi, DVD, movie library. Opens to a very private terrace with uninterrupted views.

The house is located on the seaside road, on a quiet pebble bay-beach. It consists of the first floor of a two floor villa, it is completely independent, its entrance being at a different road than the second floor. It does not share any space and has exclusive access to the terrace.

It is traditional hydreotic, built in the 19th century and renovated recently. It is located at one of the most privileged areas of the island at the least crowded part of town, offering seclusion, yet proximity to the port and facilities. Its advantageous location offers the beauty of living next to the sea, as well as an easy 10 minute walk from the port, by the main seaside road, without any stairs at all.

Its view at the windmills on the rocky hill, that rises through the ocean, has often been selected by artists as a favorite landscape to capture on canvas, as has been the house itself. Even more, the amazing sunset view is a reason to stay at home in the afternoon.

The house is recently refurbished and decorated by its owners in an antique and island style that matches the affluent character of old Hydra. The house offers a full assortment of facilities, as it has been designed for permanent residence.
