Kamini, Vlichos, and Palimdas

Heading west from Hydra Harbor along the coast road, you’ll pass through the sleepy fishing villages of Kamini, Vlichos, and Palamidas. Both Kamini and Vlichos have tavernas and beaches, whereas Palamidas is more isolated. You can also find isolated spots along the road to spread a towel enjoy the sea in privacy.

Episkopi, Zogeri, and Nisizas

A dirt road leads from Palamidas up into the hills to the mountain village of Episkopi. While the sea isn’t visible from the village itself, the walk up provides lovely views of the Saronic and the Hydra coast line. Continue along to Zogeri on the island’s west side or to the coastal area of ​​Nisizas. (Bring any refreshments with you as there will be nothing available after Vlichos.)
