One of the few house rentals on Hydra with a private pool, this lovingly renovated home blends traditional Hydriot charm with modern conveniences, stunning sea and harbor views, and a short walk to the port. Uniquely furnished and decorated with paintings by Hydra-based artists, Villa Yasmina sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with extra sleeping space in a downstairs room.

From the cobblestone street, guests enter a cool entrance room with marble floors that opens onto the first-level terrace and pool. This room is furnished with a majestic double bed imported from Africa, and by the pool are two plush wicker chaise lounges. A laundry room is tucked into one corner.

Up a short flight of stairs, guests find themselves in a large open-plan kitchen/living area, with traditional wooden floors and beamed ceilings and adorned with oil canvases by a variety of Hydra’s painters. This room provides access to the second-level terrace, with its black-and-white checkerboard marble floor, a table and chairs, canvas awning, and panoramic views.

Inside, the main room adjoins the fully equipped, modern kitchen, and two double bedrooms. The master bedroom, full of windows and whimsical watercolors, has an en suite bathroom with shower. A second bathroom is located next to the kitchen.

The house as a whole has an open, airy, island atmosphere, and is ideal for one to three couples traveling together and families with children.

Note: While children are welcome, parents must be responsible for their safety around the pool and terrace walls. Like most Hydra houses with views, reaching Villa Yasmina entails navigating a fair number of steps—though this house certainly rewards the effort! Please inquire if any in your party have health or mobility issues.
